WELCOME TO REALSCHULE INDERSDORF
Situated in the rural surroundings of Munich, but also quite close to Augsburg, our “Realschule Vinzenz von Paul” (Saint Vincent´s Middle School) is attended by around 850 students, boys and girls, which are between ten and sixteen years old.
Being a Catholic school, students have to attend religious education here, but can choose between Catholic or Lutheran religious education. Our school, however, is also open to students with other religious beliefs or non-religious students.
Our school is situated in an ancient monastery with a very long and winding history: Of course it had been a working monastery, first for monks, then for sisters, but after WW2 it was also used by the UNRRA (a division of the UN) for housing refugees or “displaced persons”, as the children of those murdered in concentration camps were called. Since then, the buildings have been used as school, first as boarding school for girls only, but now open for boys and girls alike, without boarding facilities.
